Tannourine reserve educational boards

In collaboration with TCFNR (Tannourine Cedar Forest Nature Reserve), Mada, ASE (Arts and Science for Environment), O-LIFE developed educational boards that were installed in the reserve along the educational trail. Concept by Dr Johnny Fenianos and Dr Carla Khater. Scientific text development by Dr Carla Khater and Dr Rita el Hajj.

Conceived and commissioned by Tiiu Meiner, and Rawad Baaklini, Directed by Mark Khalife and Narrated by Dr Johnny Fenianos, Dr Carla Khater and Dr Maya Nehme, in collaboration with ASE (Arts and Science for Environment), O-LiFE, Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) and Save Maydouba, this short movie presents the unique case of the sand pits in Mayrouba Lebanon, and their impacts on the environment. This problem has been largely documented and reported in National press and is presented for the first time with a scientific and artistic approach. The movie was awarded distinction price of the Design Academy of Eindhoven – Rotterdam in 2018.

In collaboration with ASE (Arts and Science for Environment), O-LIFE, Green Committee – USEK invited Dr Johnny Fenianos to animate with M. Samer Halawani an afternoon on Biodiversity in Lebanon- Snakes and birds where on stage that day.

In collaboration with ASE (Arts and Science for Environment), O-LIFE and MTV, Dr Anthony Rahayel and Dr Marc Beyrouthy have walked through the Basin of Life of Nahr Ibrahim Lebanon to document over 2 episodes the natural and human richness of the Valley. Drone footage, close ups and live narration.

Snakes of Lebanon – Field guide

With the support of ASE (Arts and Science for Environment), O-LIFE and their partners, Herpetologist Ramy Khashab (Wild Life Lebanon) documented for over than 10 years photos and information on reptiles of Lebanon. He gathered them in a Bilingual scientific publication (English- Arabic) presenting the ecology and biology of Snakes and Lizards of Lebanon.
